² And allotments were made ^(A)to the rest of the people of Manasseh by their clans, Abiezer, Helek, Asriel, Shechem, Hepher, and Shemida. These were the male descendants of Manasseh the son of Joseph, by their clans.

¹⁸ And his sister Hammolecheth bore Ishhod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.

^29 (A)The sons of Manasseh: of ^(B)Machir, the clan of the Machirites; and Machir was the father of Gilead; ^(C)of Gilead, the clan of the Gileadites. ³⁰ These are the sons of Gilead: of Iezer, the clan of the Iezerites; of Helek, the clan of the Helekites; ³¹ and of Asriel, the clan of the Asrielites; and of Shechem, the clan of the Shechemites; ³² and of Shemida, the clan of the Shemidaites; and of Hepher, the clan of the Hepherites.

² And he said to them, “What have I done now in comparison with you? Is not ^(A)the gleaning of the grapes of Ephraim better than the grape harvest of Abiezer?

¹¹ Now the angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash ^(A)the Abiezrite, while his son ^(B)Gideon was beating out wheat in the winepress to hide it from the Midianites.
