5000人以上を養う奇跡
（マタイ14:13-21; マルコ6:30-44; ルカ9:10-17）
6 その後、イエスはガリラヤ湖（テベリヤ湖とも知られている）の向こう岸に渡った。 2 その後には大ぜいの群衆がついて来た。イエスが人知を超えた力で病人を治すのを見たからだ。 3 イエスは丘の上に登り、弟子たちとそこに腰を下ろした。 4 ユダヤ人の過越祭も間近だった。
5 イエスが顔をあげると、そこには多くの人がイエスのもとに集まって来るのを見た。「なあ～ピリポ、これ全員に食べさせるだけのパンをどこで買おうか？」 6 イエスがこう尋ねたのも、ピリポを試すためだった。イエスはすでにどうするかを決めていたのだ。
7 ピリポは答えた。「こんなに大ぜいじゃ、俺たち全員の月給を足したところで、それぞれにパンくず1つほどしかあげられない！」
8 すると、弟子の1人であるシモン・ペテロの弟、アンデレが答えた。 9 「この子が、大麦のパンを5つと魚を2匹持っているが、こんな大ぜいじゃ足りないな・・・」
10 イエスが言った。「みんなを座らせてきてくれ！」群衆の数は男だけでも5000人はいた。弟子たちの指示に従った人たちは皆、芝生の斜面に座った。 11 そこで、イエスはパンを取って彼らのために神に感謝した。こうして、食事を待っている人々に与えていった。また魚も同じようにした。彼らがほしいぶんだけ与えて食べさせた。
12 一人残らず彼らはたくさん食べた。食べ終わった後、イエスが弟子たちに言った。「さあ、少しも無駄にしないよう、余ったパンと魚を集めて来るんだ」 13 言われた通りに弟子たちは余った食べ物をかき集めた。食べ始めた時には、5つのパンと2匹の魚しかなかったはずが、余った食べ物を集めると、12個のかごがいっぱいになったではないか。
14 イエスの行った奇跡を見た人は口々に言った！「あの方こそ、この世に来ると告げられていた預言者に違いない」

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand(A)
6 Some time after this, Jesus crossed to the far shore of the Sea of Galilee (that is, the Sea of Tiberias), 2 and a great crowd of people followed him because they saw the signs(B) he had performed by healing the sick. 3 Then Jesus went up on a mountainside(C) and sat down with his disciples. 4 The Jewish Passover Festival(D) was near.
5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip,(E) “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages[a] to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”
8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother,(F) spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”(G)
10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks,(H) and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
12 When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” 13 So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.
14 After the people saw the sign(I) Jesus performed, they began to say, “Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”(J)

2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
3 And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples.
4 And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.
5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him,
9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?
10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.
12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.
13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.
14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
