13 ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବାନ୍ଧିଲେ ଓ ହାନାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଘେନିଗଲେ। ହାନାନ କୟାଫାଙ୍କର ଶ୍ୱଶୁର ଥିଲେ। ସେହି ବର୍ଷ କୟାଫା ମହାଯାଜକ ଥିଲେ। 14 କୟାଫା ଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦେଇଥିଲେ, “ସବୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପାଇଁ ଜଣେ ପ୍ରାଣ ଦେବା ବରଂ ଭଲ।”
