John 9:22-24
New American Standard Bible
22 His parents said this because they (A)were afraid of the [a]Jews; for the Jews (B)had already reached the decision that if anyone confessed Him to be [b]Christ, (C)he was to be excommunicated from the synagogue. 23 It was for this reason that his parents said, “(D)He is of age; ask him.”
24 So for a second time they summoned the man who had been blind, and said to him, “(E)Give glory to God; we know that (F)this Man is a sinner.”

22 His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders,(A) who already had decided that anyone who acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah would be put out(B) of the synagogue.(C) 23 That was why his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”(D)
24 A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,”(E) they said. “We know this man is a sinner.”(F)
