John 8:43-45

⁴³ Why do you not understand ^[a](A)what I am saying? It is because you cannot ^(B)listen to My word. ^44 (C)You are of ^(D)your father the devil, and ^(E)you want to do the desires of your father. ^(F)He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because ^(G)there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells ^[b]a lie, he ^(H)speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of ^[c]lies. ⁴⁵ But because ^(I)I say the truth, you do not believe Me.
