²⁴ Therefore I said to you that you ^(A)will die in your sins; for unless you believe that ^[a](B)I am He, ^(C)you will die in your sins.”

²⁸ So Jesus said, “When you ^(A)lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that ^[a](B)I am He, and ^(C)I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me.

⁵⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham ^[a]was born, ^(A)I am.”

³⁷ Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him, and ^(A)He is the one who is talking with you.”

¹⁹ From now on ^(A)I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that when it does occur, you may believe that ^(B)I am He.
