John 7:40-42

⁴⁰ So, many of the people, when they heard this saying, said, “Truly this is the Prophet!”

⁴¹ Others said, “This is the Christ!” And some said, “But shall the Christ come out of Galilee?

⁴² “Does not the Scripture say that the Christ shall come from the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
