²⁷ But ^(A)we know ^(B)where this man comes from, and when the Christ appears, ^(C)no one will know where he comes from.”

⁴² They said, ^(A)“Is not this Jesus, ^(B)the son of Joseph, whose father and mother ^(C)we know? How does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”

¹⁴ Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, ^(A)my testimony is true, for I know ^(B)where I came from and ^(C)where I am going, but ^(D)you do not know where I come from or where I am going.

¹⁹ They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, ^(A)“You know neither me nor my Father. ^(B)If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”

²⁹ We know that God has spoken to Moses, but as for this man, ^(A)we do not know where he comes from.”
