³⁵ He was the lamp that was burning and shining, and you wanted to rejoice for a while in his light.

³⁶ “But the testimony I have is greater than that from John. The works the Father has given Me to finish—the very works I am doing—testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me. ³⁷ And the Father who sent Me has testified concerning Me. You have never heard His voice nor seen His form.
