[a] 6 Now Jacob’s well was there. So Yeshua, exhausted from the journey, was sitting by the well. It was midday.[b]
7 A Samaritan woman comes to draw water. “Give me a drink,” Yeshua tells her, 8 for His disciples had gone away to the town to buy food.

5-6 När han mitt på dagen närmade sig staden Sykar kom han till Jakobs brunn, som ligger på den mark som Jakob gav sin son Josef. Jesus var trött av den långa vandringen och satte sig vid brunnen.
7 Efter en stund kom en samarisk kvinna för att hämta vatten och Jesus bad henne att få lite att dricka.
8 Han var ensam just då för lärjungarna hade gått in till staden för att köpa mat.

7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”(A) 8 (His disciples had gone into the town(B) to buy food.)
