² This man came to Him at night and said, “Rabbi,^(A) we know that You have come from God^(B) as a teacher,^(C) for no one could perform these signs You do unless God were with him.”^(D)

³⁴ Then Peter began to speak: “Now I really understand that God doesn’t show favoritism,^(A)

¹⁰ and said, “You son of the Devil,^(A) full of all deceit and all fraud, enemy of all righteousness! Won’t you ever stop perverting the straight paths^(B) of the Lord?

²⁶ He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. After Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him home^[a] and explained the way of God to him more accurately.^(A)
