¹³ No one has ascended^(A) into heaven^(B) except the one who descended from heaven^(C) —the Son of Man.^[a](D)

The One from Heaven

³¹ The one who comes from above^(A) is above all. The one who is from the earth is earthly and speaks in earthly terms.^[a] The one who comes from heaven is above all.^(B)

³⁶ “My kingdom^(A) is not of this world,” said Jesus. “If my kingdom were of this world,^(B) my servants^(C) would fight, so that I wouldn’t be handed over to the Jews. But as it is,^[a] my kingdom is not from here.”^(D)
