Disciples’ Literal New Testament
30 They responded and said to him, “If this One were not doing wrong[a], we would not have handed Him over to you”. 31 So Pilate said to them, “You take Him and judge Him according to your Law”. The Jews said to him, “It is not lawful[b] for us to execute anyone”— 32 in order that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled which He spoke signifying[c] by what kind of death He was going to die.
