²⁵ But this happened to fulfill the word that is written in their ^(A)Law, ‘^(B)They hated Me without cause.’

¹² While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name ^(A)which You have given Me; and I guarded them and ^(B)not one of them perished but ^(C)the ^[a]son of perdition, so that the ^(D)Scripture would be fulfilled.

³² in order that ^(A)the word of Jesus which He spoke would be fulfilled, signifying by what kind of death He was about to die.

²⁴ So they said to one another, “^(A)Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, to decide whose it shall be;” ^(B)this was in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled: “They ^(C)divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast ^[a]lots.”

³⁶ For these things came to pass ^(A)in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled, “^(B)Not a bone of Him shall be ^[a]broken.”
