John 12:41-43

New International Version

⁴¹ Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory^(A) and spoke about him.^(B)

⁴² Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him.^(C) But because of the Pharisees^(D) they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue;^{(E) 43} for they loved human praise^(F) more than praise from God.^(G)
