³² When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”^(A)

²¹ “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.^(A)

¹⁶ He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.^(A)

⁸ When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!”^(A)

⁴¹ Then a man named Jairus, a synagogue leader,^(A) came and fell at Jesus’ feet, pleading with him to come to his house

⁸ I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things.^(A) And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet^(B) of the angel who had been showing them to me.

³⁷ But some of them said, “Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man^(A) have kept this man from dying?”^(B)

⁴⁹ The royal official said, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”
