⁸ That one was not the Light, but came in order that he might testify concerning the Light— ⁹ the true^[a] Light which gives-light-to^[b] every person was coming into the world.

The World Did Not Accept The Light, But All Who Did Became Children of God

¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world came-into-being through Him, and the world did not know^[c] Him.
