John 1:45-47

New International Version

⁴⁵Philip found Nathanael^(A) and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law,^(B) and about whom the prophets also wrote^(C)—Jesus of Nazareth,^(D) the son of Joseph.”^(E)

⁴⁶“Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?”^(F) Nathanael asked.

“Come and see,” said Philip.

⁴⁷When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite^(G) in whom there is no deceit.”^(H)
