John 8:13-18
New American Standard Bible
13 So the Pharisees said to Him, “(A)You are testifying about Yourself; Your testimony is not [a]true.” 14 Jesus answered and said to them, “(B)Even if I am testifying about Myself, My testimony is [b]true, because I know (C)where I came from and where I am going; but (D)you do not know where I come from or where I am going. 15 (E)You judge [c]according to the flesh; (F)I am not judging anyone. 16 But even (G)if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent Me. 17 Even in (H)your Law it has been written that the testimony of (I)two people is [d]true. 18 I am He who testifies about Myself, and (J)the Father who sent Me testifies about Me.”

13 The Pharisees challenged him, “Here you are, appearing as your own witness; your testimony is not valid.”(A)
14 Jesus answered, “Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going.(B) But you have no idea where I come from(C) or where I am going. 15 You judge by human standards;(D) I pass judgment on no one.(E) 16 But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me.(F) 17 In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true.(G) 18 I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”(H)
