GOD’S WORD Translation
48 Those who reject me by not accepting what I say have a judge appointed for them. The words that I have spoken will judge them on the last day. 49 I have not spoken on my own. Instead, the Father who sent me told me what I should say and how I should say it. 50 I know that what he commands is eternal life. Whatever I say is what the Father told me to say.”

48 There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them(A) at the last day. 49 For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me(B) to say all that I have spoken. 50 I know that his command leads to eternal life.(C) So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.”(D)
