¹⁶ The Lord ^(A)roars from Zion
And ^(B)utters His voice from Jerusalem,
And the ^(C)heavens and the earth quake.
But the Lord is a ^(D)refuge for His people,
And a ^(E)stronghold for the sons of Israel.

¹⁴ Then the Lord will appear ^(A)over them,
And His ^(B)arrow will go forth like lightning;
And the Lord ^[a]God will blow the ^(C)trumpet,
And march in the ^(D)storm winds of the south.

^15 (A)The Lord of armies will protect them.
And they will ^(B)devour and trample on the ^(C)slingstones;
And they will drink and be ^(D)boisterous as with wine;
And they will be filled like a sacrificial basin,
Drenched like the ^(E)corners of the altar.
