⁶ if you are pure and upright,
then he will move even now on your behalf
and restore the home where your righteousness dwells.^(A)

⁷ Whoever found them devoured them.
Their adversaries said, “We’re not guilty;
instead, they have sinned against the Lord,

the hope of their ancestors,^(B) the Lord.”
