¹³Ang^(A) mga tuso'y inihuhulog niya sa sarili nilang bitag,
    kanilang mga pakana'y kaagad nagwawakas.
¹⁴    Di makita ang daan kahit na sa araw, sila'y nangangapa kahit katanghalian.
¹⁵Ngunit inililigtas ng Diyos ang mga ulila,
    iniaahon niya sa kaapihan ang mga dukha.

¹³He catches the wise^(A) in their craftiness,^(B)
    and the schemes of the wily are swept away.^(C)
¹⁴Darkness^(D) comes upon them in the daytime;
    at noon they grope as in the night.^(E)
¹⁵He saves the needy^(F) from the sword in their mouth;
    he saves them from the clutches of the powerful.^(G)
