²⁷ but ^(A)God has chosen the foolish things of ^(B)the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of ^(C)the world to shame the things which are strong, ²⁸ and the base things of ^(D)the world and the despised God has chosen, ^(E)the things that are not, so that He may ^(F)nullify the things that are, ²⁹ so that ^(G)no ^[a]man may boast before God. ³⁰ But ^[b]by His doing you are in ^(H)Christ Jesus, who became to us ^(I)wisdom from God, ^[c]and ^(J)righteousness and ^(K)sanctification, and ^(L)redemption, ³¹ so that, just as it is written, “^(M)Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
