Job 31:32-34
English Standard Version
32 ((A)the sojourner has not lodged in the street;
I have opened my doors to the traveler),
33 if I (B)have concealed my transgressions (C)as others do[a]
by hiding my iniquity in my heart,
34 because I stood in great fear of (D)the multitude,
and the contempt of families terrified me,
so that I kept silence, and did not go out of doors—

Job 31:32-34
New American Standard Bible
32 The stranger has not spent the night outside,
For I have opened my doors to the [a]traveler.
33 Have I (A)covered my wrongdoings like a man,
By hiding my guilt in my shirt pocket,
34 Because I (B)feared the great multitude
And the contempt of families terrified me,
And I kept silent and did not go out of doors?
