Dios Habla Hoy
Bildad
25 Dios es poderoso y temible;
él establece la paz en el cielo.
3 Sus ejércitos son incontables,
su luz brilla sobre todos.
4 ¿Podrá, pues, un simple hombre
ser puro e inocente frente a Dios?
5 A sus ojos, ni la luna tiene brillo
ni son puras las estrellas,
6 ¡mucho menos el hombre;
este gusano miserable!

25 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
2 Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

Bildad Speaks: Man Cannot Be Righteous
25 Then (A)Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:
2 “Dominion and fear are with God;[a]
he makes peace in his high heaven.
3 Is there any number to his (B)armies?
Upon whom does his (C)light not arise?
4 How then can man be (D)in the right before God?
How can he who is (E)born of woman be (F)pure?
5 Behold, even the moon is not bright,
and the stars are not pure in his eyes;
6 (G)how much less man, who is (H)a maggot,
and (I)the son of man, who is a worm!”
