¹⁹Drought and heat ^(A)seize the snow waters,
So does ^(B)Sheol those who have sinned.

¹⁹As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow,^(A)
so the grave^(B) snatches away those who have sinned.

¹⁹Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.

¹⁹As drought and heat ^[a]consume the snow waters,
So ^[b]the grave consumes those who have sinned.
