4 Then[a] Satan[b] answered him and said, “Skin for skin! All that that[c] man has he will give for his life. 5 But stretch out[d] your hand and touch his bones and his flesh, and see whether[e] he will curse[f] you to your face.”[g]
6 So[h] Yahweh said to Satan,[i] “All right,[j] he is in your power.[k] Only spare his life.”
