Job 19:22-27

²² Why do you pursue^(A) me as God does?^(B)
    Will you never get enough of my flesh?^(C)

²³ “Oh, that my words were recorded,
    that they were written on a scroll,^(D)
24 that they were inscribed with an iron tool^(E) on^[a] lead,
    or engraved in rock forever!^(F)
25 I know that my redeemer^[b](G) lives,^(H)
    and that in the end he will stand on the earth.^[c]
26 And after my skin has been destroyed,
    yet^[d] in^[e] my flesh I will see God;^(I)
27 I myself will see him
    with my own eyes^(J)—I, and not another.
    How my heart yearns^(K) within me!
