Jeremiah 51:40-42

⁴⁰I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter,
like rams together with male goats.^(A)

the praise^(D) of the whole earth seized.
What a horror Babylon has become
among the nations!^(E)
⁴²The sea has risen over Babylon;^(F)
she is covered with its tumultuous waves.
