Jeremiah 5:8-10

Christian Standard Bible

⁸They are well-fed,^[a] eager^[b] stallions,^(A)
each neighing^(B) after someone else’s wife.^(C)
⁹Should I not punish them for these things?^(D)
This is the Lord’s declaration.
Should I not avenge myself^(E)
on such a nation as this?

¹⁰Go up among her vineyard terraces and destroy them,^(F)
but do not finish them off.^(G)
Prune away her shoots,
for they do not belong to the Lord.^(H)
