Jeremiah 49:21-23

21 The (A)earth has quaked at the noise of their downfall. There is an outcry! The noise of it has been heard at the [a]Red Sea. 22 Behold, [b]He will mount up and (B)swoop like an eagle and spread out His wings [c]against Bozrah; and the (C)hearts of the mighty men of Edom in that day will be like the heart of a woman in labor.

23 Concerning (D)Damascus.
“(E)Hamath and (F)Arpad are put to shame,
For they have heard a bad report;
They are (G)melting away.
There is anxiety by the sea,
It (H)cannot be quieted.

22 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
