Jeremiah 49:20-22

²⁰Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.

²¹The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.

²²Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

²⁰Therefore hear the plan that the Lord has made against ^(A)Edom and the purposes that he has formed against the inhabitants of ^(B)Teman: ^(C)Even the little ones of the flock shall be dragged away. Surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate. ²¹At the sound of their fall ^(D)the earth shall tremble; the sound of their cry shall be heard at the Red Sea. ²²Behold, ^(E)one shall mount up and fly swiftly like an eagle and spread his wings against ^(F)Bozrah, and the heart of the warriors of Edom shall be in that day like the heart ^(G)of a woman in her birth pains.”

²⁰Therefore, hear what the Lord has planned against Edom,^(A)
    what he has purposed^(B) against those who live in Teman:^(C)
The young of the flock^(D) will be dragged away;
    their pasture will be appalled at their fate.^(E)
²¹At the sound of their fall the earth will tremble;^(F)
    their cry^(G) will resound to the Red Sea.^[a]
²²Look! An eagle will soar and swoop^(H) down,
    spreading its wings over Bozrah.^(I)
In that day the hearts of Edom’s warriors^(J)
    will be like the heart of a woman in labor.^(K)
