Jeremiah 48:24-26
World English Bible

24     on Kerioth, on Bozrah,
    and on all the cities of the land of Moab, far or near.
25 The horn of Moab is cut off,
    and his arm is broken,” says Yahweh.

26 “Make him drunk,
    for he magnified himself against Yahweh.
Moab will wallow in his vomit,
    and he also will be in derision.

24     to Kerioth(A) and Bozrah(B)—
    to all the towns(C) of Moab, far and near.
25 Moab’s horn[a](D) is cut off;
    her arm(E) is broken,”
declares the Lord.

26 “Make her drunk,(F)
    for she has defied(G) the Lord.
Let Moab wallow in her vomit;(H)
    let her be an object of ridicule.(I)

25 The horn (strength) of Moab is cut off, and his arm [of authority] is shattered, says the Lord.

26 Make him drunk, for he has magnified himself against the Lord [by resisting Reuben’s occupation of the land the Lord had assigned him]. Moab also shall splash in his vomit, and he too shall be held in derision.(A)
