⁴ On account of the day that is coming
To ^(A)destroy all the Philistines,
To cut off from ^(B)Tyre and Sidon
Every ally that is left;
For the Lord is going to destroy the Philistines,
The remnant of the coastland of ^(C)Caphtor.

² And ^(A)Hamath also, which borders on it;
^(B)Tyre and ^(C)Sidon, ^[a]though ^[b]they are ^(D)very wise.
³ For Tyre built herself a ^(E)fortress
And ^(F)piled up silver like dust,
And ^(G)gold like the mire of the streets.
⁴ Behold, the Lord will ^(H)dispossess her
And cast her wealth into the sea;
And she will be ^(I)consumed with fire.
