¹⁰ and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “Behold, I am going to send men and get ^(A)My servant ^(B)Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and I am going to set his throne over these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his ^[a](C)canopy over them.

¹¹ He will also come and ^(A)strike the land of Egypt; those who are meant for death will be given over to death, and those for captivity to captivity, and ^(B)those for the sword to the sword.

²⁷ Behold, I am watching over them ^(A)for harm and not for good, and ^(B)all the people of Judah who are in the land of Egypt will ^[a]meet their end by the sword or by famine until they ^[b]are completely gone.

² A third you shall burn in the fire at the center of the city, when the ^(A)days of the siege are completed. Then you shall take a third and strike it with the sword all around ^[a]the city, and a third you shall scatter to the wind; for I will ^(B)unsheathe a sword behind them.

¹⁴ And I will ^(A)scatter to every wind all who are around him, his helpers and all his troops; and I will draw out a sword after them.
