⁴ For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel says concerning the ^(A)houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah which have been torn down to make a defense against the ^(B)assault ramps and the sword:

²² Into his right hand came the divination, ‘Jerusalem,’ to ^(A)set up battering rams, to open the mouth ^[a]for ^[b]slaughter, to raise the voice with a battle cry, to set up battering rams against the gates, to pile up assault ramps, to build a siege wall.
