²³ Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, “Once again they will speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities when I ^[a](A)return their ^[b]fortunes,

⁷ I will ^[a](A)return the ^[b]fortunes of Judah and the ^[c]fortunes of Israel and will ^(B)rebuild them as they were at first.

¹¹ the voice of ^(A)joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who say,

and of those who bring a ^(C)thank offering into the house of Yahweh. For I will ^[a]return the ^[b]fortunes of the land as they were at first,’ says Yahweh.

²⁶ then I would ^(A)reject the seed of Jacob and David My servant, ^[a]not taking from his seed ^(B)rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But I will ^[b](C)return their ^[c]fortunes and will have ^(D)compassion on them.’”
