6 the Prophet Jeremiah said, “Amen! The LORD so do! The LORD confirm your words which you have prophesied, to restore the vessels of the LORD’s House, and all that was carried captive from Babel, into this place.
7 “But hear now this Word that I will speak in your ears, and in the ears of all the people.
8 “The Prophets who have been before me, and before you, in time past, prophesied against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war and of plagues and of pestilence.

6 He said, “Amen! May the Lord do so! May the Lord fulfill the words you have prophesied by bringing the articles of the Lord’s house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon.(A) 7 Nevertheless, listen to what I have to say in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people: 8 From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague(B) against many countries and great kingdoms.
