⁵ And I ^(A)Myself will make war against you with an ^(B)outstretched hand and a mighty arm, and in ^(C)anger, wrath, and great indignation.

⁷ and I ^(A)set My face against them. Though they have ^(B)come out of the fire, yet the fire will consume them. Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I set My face against them.

³ and say to the land of Israel, ‘This is what the Lord says: “Behold, ^(A)I am against you; and I will draw My sword from its sheath and cut off from you the ^(B)righteous and the wicked.

² For I will ^(A)gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be taken, the ^(B)houses plundered, the women raped, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be eliminated from the city.
