Jeremiah 18:21

21 Therefore, (A)give their children over to famine
And deliver them up to the [a]power of the sword;
And let their wives become (B)childless and (C)widowed.
Let their men also be smitten to death,
Their (D)young men struck down by the sword in battle.

Yes, (A)woe to them indeed when I depart from them!
13 Ephraim, as I have seen,
Is planted in a pleasant meadow like (B)Tyre;
But Ephraim will bring out his children for slaughter.
14 Give them, O Lord—what will You give?
Give them a (C)miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
15 All their evil is at (D)Gilgal;
Indeed, I came to hate them there!
Because of the (E)wickedness of their deeds
I will drive them out of My house!
I will love them no more;
All their princes are (F)rebels.
16 (G)Ephraim is stricken, their root is dried up,
They will bear (H)no fruit.
Even though they bear children,
I will slay the (I)precious ones of their womb.
