²⁰ And I will make you to this people a fortified bronze ^(A)wall;
And they will fight against you,
But ^(B)they shall not prevail against you;
For I am with you to save you
And deliver you,” says the Lord.

^18 (A)Let them be ashamed who persecute me,
But ^(B)do not let me be put to shame;
Let them be dismayed,
But do not let me be dismayed.
Bring on them the day of doom,
And ^(C)destroy^[a] them with double destruction!
