Jeremiah 14:7-9
1599 Geneva Bible
7 [a]O Lord, though our iniquities testify against us, deal with us according to thy Name: for our rebellions are many, we sinned against thee.
8 O thou hope of Israel, the savior thereof in the time of trouble, why art thou as a [b]stranger in the land, as one that passeth by, to tarry for a night?
9 Why art thou as a man astonied, and as [c]a strong man that cannot help? yet thou, O Lord, art in the midst of us, and thy name is called upon us: forsake us not.
