^17 (A)Pick up your bundle from the ground,
You who live under siege!

¹⁸ For this is what the Lord says:
“Behold, I am ^(A)slinging out the inhabitants of the land
At this time,
And I will cause them distress,
So that they may ^[a]be found.”

¹⁵ That day is a day of anger,
A day of ^(A)trouble and distress,
A day of destruction and desolation,
A day of ^(B)darkness and gloom,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,

¹⁶ A day of ^(A)trumpet and battle cry
Against the ^(B)fortified cities
And the high corner towers.
