^43 (A)Fields will be bought in this land of which you say, “^(B)It is a desolation, without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.”

²⁹ And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, ‘Thus says the Lord, “You have ^(A)burned this scroll, saying, ‘^(B)Why have you written on it ^[a]that the ^(C)king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will make man and beast to cease from it?’”

⁶² and say, ‘You, O Lord, have ^[a]promised concerning this place to ^(A)cut it off, so that there will be ^(B)nothing dwelling in it, ^[b]whether man or beast, but it will be a perpetual desolation.’
