18 Tevens namen zij alle koperen potten, de asscheppen, de messen die bij het altaar werden gebruikt, de sprengbekkens, de vuurpotten, de schalen en al het andere koperen gereedschap uit de tempel mee. 19 Het hoofd van de lijfwacht zag er op toe dat ook de gouden en zilveren schalen, vuurpannen, sprengbekkens, potten, kroonluchters, schotels en offerschalen werden meegenomen. 20 Het gewicht van de twee koperen pilaren, het wasvat en de twaalf stieren was enorm. Zij konden het niet eens wegen. Dit alles was gemaakt in de tijd van koning Salomo.

18 The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

19 And the basons, and the firepans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, took the captain of the guard away.

20 The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brasen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the Lord: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.

18 They also took away the pots, shovels, wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls,(A) dishes and all the bronze articles used in the temple service.(B) 19 The commander of the imperial guard took away the basins, censers,(C) sprinkling bowls, pots, lampstands,(D) dishes(E) and bowls used for drink offerings(F)—all that were made of pure gold or silver.(G)

20 The bronze from the two pillars, the Sea and the twelve bronze bulls(H) under it, and the movable stands, which King Solomon had made for the temple of the Lord, was more than could be weighed.(I)
