³³ So ^[a]Jehoiachin changed from his prison garments, ^(A)and he ate bread regularly before the king all the days of his life.

⁷ So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.”

⁷ “But show kindness to the sons of ^(A)Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be among those who ^(B)eat at your table, for so ^(C)they came to me when I fled from Absalom your brother.

¹³ So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem, ^(A)for he ate continually at the king’s table. And he ^(B)was lame in both his feet.

⁴² Then Pharaoh ^(A)took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he ^(B)clothed him in garments of fine linen ^(C)and put a gold chain around his neck.

^14 (A)Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they ^(B)brought him quickly ^(C)out of the dungeon; and he shaved, ^(D)changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh.

⁴ Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said, “See, I have removed your iniquity from you, ^(A)and I will clothe you with rich robes.”
