James 5:9-11
Common English Bible
9 Don’t complain about each other, brothers and sisters, so that you won’t be judged. Look! The judge is standing at the door!
10 Brothers and sisters, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord as an example of patient resolve and steadfastness. 11 Look at how we honor those who have practiced endurance. You have heard of the endurance of Job. And you have seen what the Lord has accomplished, for the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

9 Do not grumble against one another, brothers, (A)so that you may not be judged; behold, (B)the Judge is standing (C)at the door. 10 As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take (D)the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of (E)the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen (F)the purpose of the Lord, how (G)the Lord is compassionate and merciful.

You have heard of Job’s perseverance(F) and have seen what the Lord finally brought about.(G) The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.(H)
