John 17:15-23

¹⁵ I ^(A)do not ask that you ^(B)take them out of the world, but that you ^(C)keep them from ^(D)the evil one.^{[a] 16 (E)}They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. ^17 (F)Sanctify them^[b] in the truth; ^(G)your word is truth. ^18 (H)As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. ¹⁹ And ^(I)for their sake ^(J)I consecrate myself,^[c] that they also ^(K)may be sanctified^[d] in truth.

²⁰ “I do not ^(L)ask for these only, but also for those ^(M)who will believe in me through their word, ^21 (N)that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that ^(O)they also may be in ^(P)us, so that the world ^(Q)may believe that you have sent me. ^22 (R)The glory that you have given me ^(S)I have given to them, ^(T)that they may be one even as we are one, ^23 (U)I in them and you in me, ^(V)that they may become perfectly one, ^(W)so that the world may know that you sent me and ^(X)loved them even as ^(Y)you loved me.
