⁷ Your iniquities and ^(A)the iniquities of your fathers together,”
Says the Lord,
^(B)“Who have burned incense on the mountains
^(C)And blasphemed Me on the hills;
Therefore I will measure their former work into their bosom.”

^14 (A)All your lovers have forgotten you;
They do not seek you;
For I have wounded you with the wound ^(B)of an enemy,
With the chastisement ^(C)of a cruel one,
For the multitude of your iniquities,
^(D)Because your sins have increased.

¹⁵ Why ^(A)do you cry about your affliction?
Your sorrow is incurable.
Because of the multitude of your iniquities,
Because your sins have increased,
I have done these things to you.
